Robberies, Scams & Safezones

These rules govern Robberies, Scans and Safezones to keep the experience fair and balanced. By setting limits and restrictions, we can ensure fair roleplay for everyone.
ROBBERIES & SCAMMING
Criminal roleplay should create engaging scenarios for everyone involved. These rules exist to prevent excessive losses, protect newer players, and ensure robberies and scams remain realistic and enjoyable.
(4.1) ROBBERY
A robbery is the act of using threats, intimidation, or weapons to force another player to surrender money, valuables, or property.
Protections
• Maximum Money Loss: $5,000
• Maximum Trucking Goods Loss: $15,000
• Players must be Level 3 or above to participate in robberies
• New players are protected from being robbed
Restrictions
• Robberies must be supported by roleplay and a valid in-character reason
• Killing a victim during or after a robbery is prohibited unless they escalate, resist with force, or consent to the outcome
• A robbery may not be used as justification for a random killing
• Attempting to rob a player immediately after a failed murder attempt is prohibited unless both parties agree to continue the roleplay
Inventory & Possessions
• Items present in your inventory are considered to be carried by your character
• You may not claim an item is elsewhere simply to avoid losing it
• Items must be roleplayed as accessible unless previously stored in a location that can reasonably be proven through roleplay
Cooldowns
• Players must wait at least one hour before initiating another robbery
(4.2) SCAMMING
Scamming is the act of deceiving another player through roleplay for personal financial gain.
Protections
• Maximum Money Loss: $5,000
• Players must be Level 2 or above to participate in scams
• New players are protected from being scammed
Restrictions
• All scams must have a legitimate in-character purpose
• Out-of-character information may never be used to facilitate a scam
• Victims who willingly comply may not be attacked or killed once the scam has concluded
• Any violence occurring after a completed scam must be independently justified through roleplay
• Scams intended solely to grief, harass, or ruin another player's experience are prohibited
Examples
• Selling fake goods through roleplay
• Misrepresenting the value of an item
• Fraudulent business transactions conducted entirely in character
SAFEZONES
Safezones exist to provide neutral locations where players can conduct business, access services, and participate in roleplay without the threat of criminal activity. While criminal acts are restricted, normal roleplay may continue within these areas.
(5.1) SAFEZONES
Safezones are designated areas where criminal activity is strictly prohibited.
Restrictions
• Criminal acts may not be committed inside a safezone
• Players may flee into a safezone, however attackers must cease hostile actions once the player has entered
• Scamming remains permitted unless otherwise restricted by staff
• Players involved in violent crimes, active pursuits, or similar situations may not enter a safezone for fifteen minutes following the incident
• Entering a safezone to surrender to law enforcement is permitted
• Repeatedly committing crimes and immediately retreating into a safezone is considered abuse of safezone protections
• Wearing a /mask within a safezone is prohibited at all times
