Anti-Cheat, Mods & VPN Usage

As a server, we appreciate that some players may use enhancements. This section of the rules govern what we do allow, and the process for usage of a VPN.

ANTI-CHEAT

Our anti-cheat system is designed to identify unauthorised modifications, detect suspicious activity, and maintain a fair playing environment for all players. Being flagged by the system does not automatically mean disciplinary action will be taken, however all detections are reviewed by the Administration Team.

ANTI-CHEAT DETECTIONS The anti-cheat continuously monitors the game client for modifications that may provide an unfair advantage.

• Anti-cheat detections are logged for administrative review
• Being flagged does not automatically result in a punishment
• Administrators will review evidence before determining the appropriate action
• Repeated detections or confirmed cheating may result in a permanent ban
• Attempting to bypass or interfere with the anti-cheat system is strictly prohibited
• Players are responsible for ensuring their GTA installation complies with server requirements

• If you are flagged while using prohibited software, disciplinary action is likely
• If requested, players may be required to provide information regarding installed modifications during an investigation

ANTI-CHEAT ENFORCEMENT Certain modifications are monitored more aggressively due to their similarity to known cheats.

• SampFuncs detections will typically result in removal from the server rather than an immediate ban
• Players are expected to remove flagged software before reconnecting
• Bullet Tracers, Silent Aim, Sprint Hooks, and similar modifications may trigger immediate detections
• Some visual modifications share code commonly used by cheats and may therefore be flagged
• Failure to remove prohibited modifications may result in account sanctions

Note

• Claims regarding a clean game installation may be reviewed during the appeal process where applicable

PERMITTED MODIFICATIONS

Not all modifications are prohibited. Visual improvements and quality-of-life enhancements that do not affect gameplay are generally permitted provided they do not interfere with the anti-cheat system.

MINOR ENHANCEMENTS Visual and cosmetic modifications that provide no gameplay advantage are generally allowed.

Examples of Allowed Modifications

• Weather enhancements
• Visual texture improvements
• HUD customisation
• Custom crosshairs
• Cosmetic graphical improvements
• Other modifications that do not alter gameplay mechanics

Restrictions

• Allowed modifications must not provide a competitive advantage
• Mods requiring SampFuncs are not permitted
• Mods that alter player visibility, aiming, movement, or game mechanics are prohibited
• Staff may request the removal of any modification that conflicts with server systems

Unsure About A Mod?

• Contact a member of the Development Team before using it
• Approval should be obtained before installing anything that could affect gameplay or anti-cheat detection

VPN USAGE

VPNs can interfere with anti-cheat systems and account security measures. As a result, their use is heavily restricted.

VPN USAGE Connecting to the server through a VPN, proxy, or similar service is generally prohibited.

Restrictions

• VPN usage is not permitted during normal gameplay
• Players may not use VPNs to bypass server restrictions or security systems
• Using a VPN to conceal identity, location, or account ownership is prohibited
• VPN-related anti-cheat detections may result in administrative review

Exceptions

• Players affected by regional restrictions may request approval through the CLRP Assistance Centre
• VPN access may only be granted when approved by Administration
• Approval must be obtained before connecting with a VPN enabled
